Shipping, Dispatch & Returns

Everything you need to know about how we pack, ship, and handle returns. Every order is fully insured, because your comics deserve the same care we'd give our own collection.

Shipping

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your order. Every order includes full shipping insurance at no extra cost — your comics are covered from the moment they leave us until they arrive at your door.

We take packing seriously. Raw (ungraded) comics are dispatched in rigid cardboard mailers with card stiffeners to prevent bending, sealed in a protective bag. Professionally graded comics (CGC, CBCS, etc.) are shipped in custom-fit boxes with foam padding to keep the case secure during transit.

Ordering multiple items? We combine shipping wherever possible, so you'll only pay a single shipping fee for your entire order. The checkout will calculate the best rate automatically.

UK delivery only. We currently ship to addresses within the United Kingdom. All orders include tracking so you can follow your delivery every step of the way.


Processing & Dispatch Times

Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 working days of payment being confirmed. You'll receive a dispatch notification email with tracking information as soon as your order ships.

During busy periods — such as after new stock drops or promotions — dispatch times may be slightly extended. If there is a significant delay, we'll let you know by email.


Returns & Refunds

Damaged or Lost Items

If your order arrives damaged or doesn't arrive at all, contact us as soon as possible. Every shipment is fully insured, so you are completely covered. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund — whichever you prefer.

Change of Mind

Changed your mind? No problem. You have 14 days from delivery to let us know, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Items must be returned in the same condition they were received. Return postage is the buyer's responsibility.

How to Start a Return

Email us at contact@madcapcomics.co.uk with your order number and the reason for the return. We'll get back to you within one working day with next steps.
